Mortgage Interest Statements Available Now: Use Form 1098 When Filing Your Income Taxes

Form 1098 is a report used by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). It's also commonly known as the Mortgage Interest Statement. Mortgage lenders like ServiSolutions use it to report mortgage interest payments of $600 or more that homeowners make. It will show the total interest and the principal you paid in 2025.

As a homeowner, you can use this form to calculate mortgage interest deductions when filing your annual income taxes by April 15. This can reduce your taxable income and potentially save you money.

Your 2025 statement is now available within our online portal. If you have not registered to use our online portal, you can do so at servsol.com. Once your account has been registered, please proceed to the Document Center and select the “Taxes” tab. Then you can download the statement dated 01/05/2026 for the reporting year 2025.
