Steer Clear of Suspicious Messages from ServiSolutions

While ServiSolutions makes every effort to preserve the privacy and security of its customers’ information, scammers are working overtime to produce fake emails, phone calls, webpages and text messages.

Two of our borrowers were recently scammed by emails pretending to be ServiSolutions.

While ServiSolutions makes every effort to preserve the privacy and security of its customers’ information, scammers are working overtime to produce fake emails, phone calls, webpages and text messages. Their efforts look more and more realistic, but there are some steps you can take to ensure that you’re truly talking with us.

Check the domain name. ServiSolutions email addresses end with @servsol.com, with the sole exception of the @LDOSC.com address that relates to loss draft interactions (insurance claims). Any email coming from another address signals an impersonation attempt. Also make sure to hover your cursor over the display name to reveal the true email address.

Call us. If anything in an email from us seems “off” or unusual to you, give us a call at 334-244-4350 or 866-339-2432 (toll free). We will quickly confirm whether we’ve sent you that message. Don’t click on the phone number listed in the email — go to our website directly and check the “Contact Us” section to make sure you have the right phone number.

Take your time. Just because a message contains some of your personal information does NOT mean that it’s legit. Many details, such as your home address and phone number, are available online through a variety of public websites. Dedicated spammers can easily find enough of your personal information to look realistic, especially if you're in a rush.

Protect your privacy. We’ll never ask for your passwords or credit or debit card information. If someone claiming to be from ServiSolutions asks for these details, hang up, close the browser window, delete the email, or call us to verify.

Staying alert is the best way to protect yourself from scams. If you’re ever unsure, contact ServiSolutions before you respond to or share any information. A few extra minutes can help keep your personal and financial information safe and save you from hours of future headaches.
